This photo was taken at a newborn workshop from Boston last year. If someone told me 11 years ago when I started that I would be traveling all over the US, photographing newborns and teaching other photographers how to do what I do, I would have giggled. My bestie asked me last week what I would do if I didn’t have my business anymore or if I went back to school, what I would want to do. I think #1 to be a nicu nurse or a labor and delivery nurse, and #2 would be teaching. It’s kind of wild having a career that gives me the best of both worlds. Having a ‘job’ that I love and brings me so much happiness and joy and is soul feeding… literally.
