It’s crazy to think that it’s been 7.5 years since I first started my business. Whenever clients ask me how long I’ve been doing this, I have to really think about it because it definitely doesn’t feel like it’s been as long as it has. I’ve met and photographed hundreds and hundreds of babies and their families. There have been many that have come back for their second babies… and their third… It has been an amazing adventure and I’m so very thankful to all the clients who choose me to be a part of this special time in their lives.

Before every newborn session, a questionnaire is sent to my clients to ask them what colors they would like to include in their session, what colors they would like to avoid, and if there are any specific images from my portfolio that they are drawn to. Most of the time, clients choose to include white or ivory and I have to admit, it doesn’t make me sad in the least bit. It might even be my favorite color to photograph as it looks great on every baby. Sharing a few of my favorites from Miss Eleanor’s session.

This tiny little man came in for his newborn session when he was just a few weeks fresh. He loved being bundled up and he he loved curling up into those sweet sleepy newborn poses.

He had the most perfect little lip pucker and fuzzy head of hair. The details of his features were some of my favorites from his session.

I love when parents want to incorporate fresh flowers into their newborn session. It’s such a fun way to add a unique touch and make the session feel extra special for them. This baby girl came in right around 2 weeks after birth and she had the most beautiful skin and plump little cheeks. The colors we chose to style her session complimented her perfectly. I’m sharing a few of my favorites from her session here below.
