This tall, gorgeous momma to be is having her baby in a few short weeks! Can’t wait to meet her little boy and take more photos of her and her beautiful family.

This baby girl was one of the models that came in to see me last Monday. She was 16 days when she came in. Many newborn photographers try to aim for 5-10 days after birth to photograph a baby, but this just goes to show that even if you are a few days outside of the ‘ideal window’ we can still capture some gorgeous images! Ruby slept so well that we finished her session in about an hour. If only all babies slept like this one!
This sweet baby boy, Adrian came in when for a model call that I had a little over a week ago and I’m so glad he did! He wanted nothing to do with the curly little poses, which was completely OKAY, but he sure did love being wrapped up! He seriously had the most gorgeous black hair, too! World, meet sweet little Adrian.
Are you on Pinterest? If so, did you know you can ‘Pin’ every image on my site directly to your board? You can also click here to see what I’m pinning. 🙂
The one year marks a time when the baby is no longer the baby and officially becomes a big boy! Peyton is the youngest of my four children. Now that he is one year old, I am no longer the mother of an infant. 🙁 WAH!
When I set up his super simple cake smash, I figured he would go nuts! Instead, he cried! He stuck one finger in the cake and refused to eat it. (The frosting on his face is from my daughter trying to get him to taste it.) After that, he was OVER it. But I did manage to get a few photos of his feet covered in the frosting first. 😉
Remember my GORGEOUS momma who suggested we do her maternity shoot in the snow?? (You can see her maternity session here: //www.dawnpotterphotography.com/maternity-session-in-the-snow-maple-valley-maternity-photographer ) When she made arrangements with me to bring her daughter in shortly after she was born, I KNEW I had to capture some photos of the two of them. This mom is absolutely stunning. I loved seeing her holding her sweet baby girl; so in love.
When Aspen came in to see me, she was under a week old and such a good little sleeper. Since her mom and dad are super outdoorsy, we made a point of taking her outside and getting a few photos of her at the end of her session. It’s not very often that we luck out with great weather during the spring time here in the north west! We had to take advantage. 🙂
World, meet Aspen. 8+ pounds of adorableness.
i believe...
every photograph tells a story. capturing moments that would otherwise be forgotten. moments that can not be replicated or reproduced. moments that that are unique in meaning to every person who sees them. moments that you can not get back.
a photograph allows you the opportunity to relive those moments over and over again. these moments shape the story of our lives, and everyone has a story to tell.
let me help you tell yours.
