One of the best things about having a large studio in downtown Renton is the ability to photograph maternity sessions in the studio when the weather chooses not to cooperate. Which, let’s face it, happens a lot in Seattle. I love the clean, simple style that can be achieved in the studio. Keeping the focus 100% on baby and mama. Here are some of my faves from a recent maternity session photographed in the studio.
Looking at this little man’s gallery, one word comes to mind … CHEEKS!! He seriously had the best cheeks and the most gorgeous little head of hair. It was such a pleasure working with this family and photographing this adorable little man with his big sister. Sharing a few of my favorites from their session.
This perfectly adorable Maple Valley family visited with their perfectly adorable little girl for me to photograph. All of the colors came out for this shoot and I think it turned out great. Got some great shots with eyes open and all! Look at those toes!
If you’re looking for a newborn photographer near Seattle, you are in the right place. Dawn Potter Photography is located just a few miles south of downtown Seattle in Renton, WA. The studio is fully stocked with everything needed to complete your newborn session.
Most babies are photographed 2-3 weeks after birth and because her schedule typically books a few month in advance, it is recommend to book your session as soon during your second trimester.
This little man came in for his session session when he was just a few weeks old. Momma wanted to focus the color palette on earthy neutrals but also a few images to celebrate the fact that he is a ‘rainbow baby’. I loved all the sweet little expressions he mad in his sleep and the variety of images we were able to capture.

i believe...
every photograph tells a story. capturing moments that would otherwise be forgotten. moments that can not be replicated or reproduced. moments that that are unique in meaning to every person who sees them. moments that you can not get back.
a photograph allows you the opportunity to relive those moments over and over again. these moments shape the story of our lives, and everyone has a story to tell.
let me help you tell yours.
