My youngest niece, Morgan turned one at the tail end of summer and of course, we celebrated with a cake smash session in the studio! Hard to believe that just a year ago, I was photographing Morgan’s newborn session and her Fresh 48 session in the hospital. Time really does fly by once you have little ones of your own. The days kind of blend together and before you know it, an entire year has gone by.

I met little Skye when she was just about 2 weeks new. Mom and dad brought her in for her session and decide that they wanted her to be the full focus. I love the creamy tones they chose to use and the little pop of the Tiffany blue that the petal romper added. Baby Skye slept soundly for the majority of her session and only peeped at me for a split second and at that exact second, she even smiled a little. I love that I was able to catch that split second on camera!

Damiano and his family came in for their newborn session when Damiano was just under 2 weeks old. When I had planned out his newborn session prior to his arrival, I hadn’t counted on him having so much hair! I had to hold off on the majority of the hats I was planning to use because it was just too beautiful to cover up. The youngest of 4, his family welcomed him with open arms. I loved getting all the kiddos together for a few photos for momma, and the images of the whole family are definitely some of my favorites.
The little man and I spent a bit more time together after we wrapped up the family portion and he shared his little personality with me. Lots of little facial expressions and great eye contact. His gallery was full of variety and so much love!

Charlotte and her family came in for her newborn session when she was just about 2 weeks old. Charlotte was a rainbow baby and momma requested a few rainbow set ups to complete her session and her celebrate the arrival of their long awaited baby girl. I loved the soft pastel tones that the family chose for her session and capturing all her little details to complete her gallery.

Aiden was just about 2 weeks old when he came in for his newborn session. Momma waited a long time to welcome this sweet little man into the world and wanted to make his session extra special. Aiden’s big brother came along to the session so we could capture some of those precious moments of him holding his baby brother. Let me tell you, he was a natural! He immediately snuggled little Aiden and was more than happy to sit patiently with him. I loved seeing the special bond that these two share!
We spent the last half of Aiden’s session photographing him by himself. Mostly neutral tones with a little pop of blue. The colors were perfect for his creamy skin tones. I’m sharing a few of my favorites below.
