Olivia. One of the most awake and alert babies I had photographed in quite some time. She stared me down with her gorgeous eyes and she store my heart with her adorable little expressions! This baby girl was awake for most, if not all of her newborn session. Pretty sure the images of her with her eyes closed are only because I lucked out catching a blink! She was awake but quite calm, and the eye contact she gave me was every newborn photographer’s dream!
I loved the soft color palette that mom and dad chose for her session; the blues were especially gorgeous on her.
Here are some of my favorites from Olivia’s newborn session. If interested in a portrait session, please contact me today!
My words couldn’t express the pure joy of seeing little Grayson’s smile light up the room! He came in for his cake smash session looking quite dapper. He started out a little on the cautious side, but after a few minutes (and possibly some bribery) he started flashing me his gorgeous grin!
Most cake smash portrait sessions last about an hour in the studio. This gives us enough time for a few different set ups, a few different outfits, and the glorious cake smash that happens at the end. They are quick and most babies are mobile which means mom is usually worn out by the time we are done, but when you get great shots like this ones, it makes it all worth it!
Sharing a few of my favorites from Greyson’s session, and of course I had to include a few from his cake smash (which he wasn’t the biggest fan of!) If you are interested in having a cake smash portrait session, please contact me today!
I have the best time meeting and photographing new families! These guys were no exception. Would you believe me if I told you that we basically had to reschedule for 6 months due to weather? If you’re in the Seattle area and remember the winter we had, you’d probably believe me! Well, we had scheduled this little man’s 12 month session at the end of November of last year. And when the time came to photograph him, the weather was so terrible that we were forced to reschedule. The first rescheduled date came, and not only was it rainy, it was also freezing! Required another reschedule… and another… and another. Until finally, mom decided it might be best to just wait until spring when things got better.
But when spring came, things didn’t really get much better for us! I think it was finally JUNE before we were able to get a date that worked in our favor. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait! This handsome little man, now nearly 18 months old, was walking and talking and smiling for the camera. He warmed right up to me and we ended up with a gallery full of amazing images that this family will treasure for a lifetime.
Lots of favorites from this family session. If you are interested in a family portrait session, contact me today!
Meet Forrest and Emma. This boy girl twin session was one of many twin newborn sessions I photographed over the summer time. Working with twins can be a bit more challenging but I always make it a point to have an assistant who is experienced with newborns come to the studio to provide an extra set of hands. This little duo was absolutely perfect. I don’t think they made a peep during their entire session. I was able to get several images of the two of them together, as well as a full gallery of each of them on their own. Mom and dad chose one of our gorgeous albums to display their portraits and I have to admit, their album came together beautifully.
It would be impossible for me to choose a favorite from this session; I loved them all so much! Please contact us for details on scheduling and availability.
i believe...
every photograph tells a story. capturing moments that would otherwise be forgotten. moments that can not be replicated or reproduced. moments that that are unique in meaning to every person who sees them. moments that you can not get back.
a photograph allows you the opportunity to relive those moments over and over again. these moments shape the story of our lives, and everyone has a story to tell.
let me help you tell yours.
