Ezra’s Cake Smash | Kirkland Baby Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Ezra and his family when he was a teeny tiny little newborn baby. I jumped at the opportunity to see them all again and photograph his one year session! Since his mommas really wanted to get some family images of them all together, we decided to piggyback a mini studio session with an outdoor family session so they could get everything they wanted with one session.

We started in the studio and got a few of his cute little smirks before moving onto the cake smash portion. I have to say, seeing him get to work on his cake was pretty darn cute! He was super serious and quite focused! And when we finished up, we headed up to one of my favorite outdoor spots in Issaquah just in time for the sunset. That’s when Ezra really came out of his shell.

You can feel all the love in their family photos. The bond they share, the connection they have … very sweet and heartwarming.

Jack Newborn | Baby Photographer in Seattle

This is little Jack. Jack’s momma and I have known each other for many years. I was so honored when she chose to make the long trek out to Issaquah for her newborn session. This little mister wasn’t all that interested in sleeping, but when his eyes were open, they were alert and focused. Something that doesn’t happen all that often with a newborn baby.

Mom and Dad are UW alums so it was super important to include a little Husky attire to show off their college pride! But my favorite photo was the one we took of Jack with his grandpa’s old baseball mitt. And the little grin he flashed while I captured the image couldn’t have been more perfect. Seattle Newborn Photography Session With Anden

When mom told me that dad was a mechanic by trade, I had the idea to incorporate tools into baby Anden’s newborn session. I grabbed a bucket from my garage and started filling it with tools that I could use to create this little set up. I had no idea how heavy those things were until I was trying to carry them into the studio! It was worth it though because I absolutely loved the way it all came together.

We even lucked out with some warmer weather the morning of his session which gave us a few minutes to pop outside for a quick photo in the greenery on the studio’s property.

Eliana | Newborn Photography Seattle

Meet Eliana. This little sweetie was a joy to have in the studio for her newborn session. Her momma had requested pinks, purples and creamy neutrals so I had the entire session pre-styled when they arrived that morning. She was so sleepy and cooperative and my goodness, she was beautiful. I especially loved how content she was when she was all wrapped up and placed in her momma’s arms.

The photos of her in the little cream cradle were so lovely that I couldn’t resist printing one for display in my studio. Lena | Tacoma Newborn Photographer

Introducing baby girl, Lena. The first Lena I have had the pleasure of photographing. Her porcelain skin paired so well with the creamy color palette that momma requested for her newborn session. A touch of ivory, sage and earthy brown tones all came together quite nicely. And the tiny little furrowed brow with her sweet little expressions were the perfect touch.
