Seattle family photographers session by Dawn Potter Photography. This outdoor family session was photographed at one of my favorite locations last summer. The gorgeous weather and beautiful wild flowers complimented this lovely family so well. I had the privilege of photographing little Diego when he was a newborn and was so excited to be able to see his family again! We hiked all over the area finding lovely little patches of greenery and the kiddos did so well. I especially love the ones of the kiddos together.

James | Seattle Newborn Photography

See Seattle Newborn Photography session with little James. This guy was the perfect mix of awake and asleep for his newborn session. Mom and dad requested a mostly neutral color scheme with some Christmas flair since his session was just before the holidays. I absolutely love the way everything came together. He even flashed me one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen and I just happened to be lucky enough to have my camera ready.

Sharing a few of my favorites from James’ session below. As you can see, I really was able to get a little bit of everything!

Aidan | Seattle Newborn Baby Photographer

Seattle newborn baby photographer, Dawn Potter Photography – The Newborn Whisperer LLC has a commercial studio located in downtown Issaquah, just a few miles East of Seattle. The studio is fully stocked and equipped with everything needed for your newborn session. Each session is styled with our client’s preferences in mind to ensure the images will blend beautifully within your home. Our goal is for you to see your images and fall in love with them over and over again.

When little Aidan came in for his newborn session, he was the youngest of 5 and mom and dad hadn’t quite settled on a name for him. They said that a name is forever and they really wanted to be sure that the name they chose suited him. I think they made the perfect choice.

We styled Aidan’s session with shades of blue, cream and grey, and the family was dressed to match! I don’t think the little guy opened his eyes at all the whole time he was in the studio. He was super chill and sleepy and so easy to work with. His older brothers and sisters were pretty great, too! They all were such a lovely family and an absolute pleasure to have in the studio.

Newborn Photography Issaquah | Pia’s Newborn Session

See beautiful Newborn Photography Issaquah session with newborn baby girl Pia. Pia’s momma chose a mostly earthy pallet for her daughter’s newborn session but wanted to include some soft pink tones as well. I don’t get a lot of requests for pink so anytime I do, I totally embrace it! The browns and creams looked so good on her, too! It was such a beautiful session to style and photograph.

All the props, wraps, and backdrops you see here were supplied during her session. All newborn sessions are styled to your preferences and our studio is fully stocked with everything needed for your newborn session. The only thing you need to bring is your little one! This little guy was a little over 10 lbs when he came in for his newborn session! While he slept the majority of the time, there were a few moments when he peered up at me with his inquisitive dark eyes and adorable facial expressions. What a handsome little man he was! And his big brother was right there beside him, snuggling and giggling and enjoying every second of it.
