A newborn photography session is designed to be a relaxed and stress-free experience. Typically, sessions take place within the first two weeks after birth, when babies are sleepier and easier to pose. I provide a warm, cozy environment to keep your baby comfortable, along with a variety of props, blankets, and wraps to create stunning setups.

Most people who visit my website would have no idea that I photograph family sessions. Truth be told, I don’t market them, I don’t advertise them, I don’t post them on social media… I rarely even discuss the option to book with my clients unless they ask me about it. The thing about living in the PNW is that it’s nearly impossible to find a location that isn’t surrounded by beauty when you’re outdoors.
I do have a handful of places where I photograph my outdoor sessions, the one featured here is one of them. I only schedule outdoor family sessions in the summer months when it’s warmer and we are less likely to deal with rescheduling on account of weather. But I’ll admit, one of my absolute favorite parts of offering these sessions is that I have another opportunity to see the babies and these lovely families again.

One of my favorite things about working with returning clients is seeing their little ones growing up. Having them back to the studio and showing them all the baby photos on my walls and telling them they were that little when I first met them. Their inquisitive faces and sweet little expressions… it’s seriously the best.
